The Phil and Ted Sport Buggy is one of the lightest all terrain strollers on the market and comes with some innovations that are truly unique to Phil and Ted. You can upgrade your Phil and Ted to a double stroller at any time by adding their patented double system. The double system allows you to add a second seat behind the first making this an in-line double stroller. This stroller is perfect for the parents who intend to have a second child as you will not need to trade in the single stroller for a double.
With a lightweight powder coated steel frame the Phil and Ted Sport weighs only 23 lbs.
The Phil&Teds Sport Buggy has 12” front and rear inflatable tires. The front tire swivels but can be locked in place for jogging. This is not a true running stroller but can be used very effectively for both jogs in the park and for everyday use around town.
The Phil and Teds Sport Buggy has an adjustable, ergonomic handle, one touch quick release wheels, easy to fold and compact. This Phil&Ted Buggy has a four position main seat that adjusts from upright to laying flat. If you add the double kit, the second seat also reclines! This all terrain stroller can be used with an infant car seat by adding the car seat adapter. The adapter works with the Graco SnugRide, Graco SnugRide 32, Chicco KeyFit, Maxi-Cosi Mico and Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 car seats.
The Phil&Teds Sport Buggy is compatible for children from birth to five years old. The main seat has a 55 lb weight capacity. With the addition of the double kit the stroller is rated for up to 88 lbs.

Phil & Teds Sport Buggy Pros and Cons
Parents who like the Phil&Teds Sport Buggy really like it. Reviewers state that it is easy to push and very easy to control. They note that it is important to keep the wheels inflated to the proper pressure or it can become difficult to push. Commenter’s note that they really like the inline double option and that the stroller is much more compact than standard dual strollers. Some stated it was much easier to maneuver in tighter spaces than any other dual stroller they had used. Parents report that this stroller provides a smooth comfortable ride for their children.

Some parents who made negative comments about the Phil and Ted Sport Buggy said it was not very good for running. (Editors note: The Sport Buggy, like ALL swivel wheel strollers IS NOT a true running stroller, many parents commented that it performed very well for light jogging). Other commenter’s stated that the canopy did not cover well enough when the second seat was added.
Some users felt that the brake system was a little stiff to use but many said it just took a little getting use to. Others felt that the seat sat too close to the ground while others reported that this was not a problem.
