The adjustable sun canopy, rear wheel suspension, five point safety harness and padded seat insert provide comfort and safety for your little jogger. Other features that are included are quick release wheels and one hand fold technology to make transportation and storage very easy. The Schwinn Free Runner is a true jogging stroller made for the outdoors. As with other fixed wheel strollers this is not a good choice for other everyday use. The fixed wheel makes this stroller hard to make sharp turns such as would be required for trips to the grocery store. Parent comments indicate the Schwinn Free Runner is a very good jogging stroller for the money. Reviewers liked that it had a rain cover built into the canopy so it did not need to be purchased separately. The Schwinn Free Runner is easy to assemble and tracks straight. One consumer purchased this jogging stroller for their beach house so they would not need to transport the Baby Jogger they had at home. They stated that the Schwinn Free Runner performed just as well as the expensive stroller they had at home. Parents agreed it would not work well at the mall but then its not designed for that purpose.
Some consumers were disappointed that the wheels had to be removed to transport in their smaller cars however conceded that the quick release wheels made the chore easy.
