The large pneumatic tires and fixed front wheel provide a smooth stable ride on any kind of surface making this a good choice for the outdoors. While there are reviews that suggest the fixed wheel InSTEP Run Around is designed for both running and everyday use such as shopping, we found that fixed wheel strollers were a bit difficult to maneuver in crowded places like the grocery store and malls. The fixed wheel does provide good stability for the serious runner even at high speed.
Some reviews identified an issue with transporting the stroller in compact cars. The wheels had to be removed for it to fit in the truck. Consumers reported that it was easy to fold up, lightweight and easy to walk / jog with. There were many positive comments on the large amount of storage space available on the InSTEP Run Around. Some users had difficulty doing the initial assembly on the hand brake; one parent reported they needed to get some help from a local bike shop.
